FDF 2007 Home Page

The 31st Annual Greek Orthodox Folk Dance & Choral Festival will take place February 15th - 18th 2007 in Ontario, California at the Double Tree Hotel and the Ontario Convention Center. All dance competition and evening activities will take place at the Ontario Convention & Visitors Bureau.  Meals will be held at the Doubletree Hotel Ontario.

Code of Conduct Policy
By registering for FDF participants agree to accept the terms of the Waiver, Release of Liability, Assumption of Risk and Indemnity Agreement and the FDF Code of Conduct.  Participants will have to sign the statement in order to receive their package at FDF Registration. Minors will need a Parent, Chaperone or Legal Guardian to sign for them at FDF Registration. To read the statement click here!

 


Chaperone Policy
During the Folk Dance & Choral Festival, there must be at least one chaperone for every 7 participants under the age of 18. Chaperones must be over the age of 21 and must purchase a full participant registration package.

 


Damage & Liability

The Greek Orthodox Folk Dance & Choral Festival will not be responsible for any damages caused by individual participants of the Folk Dance & Choral Festival. Any charges resulting from damage to any of the facilities used and occupied by the Folk Dance & Choral Festival will be the sole responsibility of the participant, his/her parents and/or parish responsible for the damages.

 


Workshop Policy
The workshops are designed to provide an opportunity for our participants to interact on a social, non-competitive level. The goal is to promote fellowship and camaraderie throughout the Metropolis. Attendance will be taken at all workshops and those groups who achieve a 90% attendance at the workshops will receive a 1% bonus on their scores. Choir practice for Sunday's Divine Liturgy will take place simultaneous with the workshops and will count towards the workshop requirement.

 


Wristband Policy

All registration wristbands must be properly and securely fastened at all times. In order to receive a replacement band, participants must return their original broken/damaged band.
